Children's Park

We're still in our holiday, and today is the last day of 2010. We went to Children's Park near the Marine Drive with my cousins and friends. Our favorite part is the ice cream part of course.

Sunday Project - Skeleton

This is my project this Sunday. A skeleton made with cotton buds. Of course this project made Mama's cotton bud box empty :D.

Does it look great? Hahaha
Meanwhile, take a look at my sister's photo when she seriously drank her mango juice. She's so funny!

Toothless Smile

I lost one of my teeth.

Yesterday when I played with my sister Noura, I fell down and my tooth broke. There was a lot of blood and of course I cried very loud. Thank God that it wasn't my new tooth.

So, this is how I look now with my toothless smile :D

Recipe : Mie Goreng

Today I'm going to share a recipe of one of my favorite food : Mie Goreng (Fried Nooddles). This is a simple one that my mother usually makes for us. What she does is throwing anything she has in the fridge. If you want to try this, be creative with the ingredients!

Mie Goreng (Fried Noodle)

Ingredients:

1 pack of Chinese egg noodle

1 onion, sliced

3 cloves of garlic, smashed

1/2 - 1 cup of shredded chicken

2 eggs, lightly beaten

1 big carrot, thinly sliced
5 - 10 beans, thinly sliced

or any vegetable you like

1 tbsp sweet soya sauce
salt
pepper
óil for frying

sliced spring onion for garnish

Methods:
Boil water in a pan and soak the noodle until it become soft. Be careful because some are cooked in the shorter time, while others take a little longer. Drain the noodle in a strainer, and then add a little oil to avoid them sticking to each other. Set aside.

Heat some oil in a pan. Add garlic and sliced onion. Fry it until it soft and start to turn golden. Add beaten eggs and scramble it in high flame, then add the vegetables and chicken pieces. When the vegetables slighly cooked, add noddles, soya sauce, pepper and salt. Mix them all together and fry for some time.

Remove from stove, garnish with sliced spring onions. Serve hot.

I love eating it with tomato sauce or even a hot and sweet sauce. Hmmm..... so yummy!
