Birthday trip to TVM

Last Saturday, November 19th, 2005 was my first Birthday. Mama failed to do her 'Plan A' which is making an Indonesian Tumpeng for me.... (hehehehe..) . Well, actually.. it was the only plan. Since she couldn't make it... we didn't have any other plan for my birthday...

Then suddenly on Friday night Uppa said he had to go to Trivandrum on the next day with his friend. He said if his friend come with his family, Mama and me can come too. So finally, we all go for the trip... We started on Saturday early morning to catch the morning train.

This is my second time to visit Trivandrum. The first time when I was 8 months old. We reach TVM around 11 AM. Uppa have to do his work first, he said. So the whole day that day, me and Mama have to wait until he finish all his work. In the evening, we came to ppa's friend's house to take some rest. Then around 7 PM, we went out for dinner. At that time I already feel to sleep because of tired. So basicly, we did nothing on my birthday...

The next day was Sunday. We planned to go out. Our first destination was Veli Tourist Village around 8 km from the city. The Veli Tourist Village on the outskirts of Trivandrum is the delightful waterfront park. An ideal picnic spot where the lake merges with the sea. The wadding pool, gardens, exquisite sculptures, a floating bridge and a wide range of aqua sports facilities (I copied it from a site, hheehehe).

When we entered the park, a group of swans came to welcome us... I was very very excited to see them. Uppa put me down so I can 'talk' to the swans... Then I saw a lots of Crows also.... You know, they are my best friends. When we went to the beach there.... a lot of crows came near me.... And I saw a small horse also.. It was eating the grass. When Uppa tried to touch its body, he got a bite on his leg.... hahahaha...

Since I have so much interests in animal now... After lunch, Uppa and Mama took me to the zoo. It was a very interesting adventure for me. I've been to a zoo before when we went to Hyderabad. But that time, I didn't know anything about animal....

I saw a lot of different animals.... everytime I met them, I 'talk' to them... hehehe... My favorit animals are birds, spotted deer and tigers.. If you like to see other photos in bigger size, click Here

I didn't have a birthday cake, or a party or a lot of birthday presents for my first Birthday..... But I like my birthday trip... ^_^

Drawing

Yesterday when Mama busy in the bathroom putting dresses to wash I played by myself. I know Mama will angry if I disturb her... hehehe...

So I tried to find something interesting to play. Toys look so boring... Then I walked to the self and open it. I found Mama's blue pen. I took it and remove the cover... And there I go... start to write on the floor. No actually I was drawing...

It was very fun... so I kept doing my work, even when Mama came from the bathroom. I thought she will angry.. but hey, she laughed. Hehehe...

Because this is my first 'drawing' so she took the picture of it... What do you think....?

By the way, I have 4 teeth now... ^_^

Going to Ibu Naila's arisan....

I got an arisan invitation from Ibu Naila... I think I'm very very late. So I better go by car... If the arisan already finished, I hope she still have some tempe goreng for me... hehehehe...

I don't remember how many times I went to beach. Hmm.. many many times... hehehe. The first time I saw beach when I was 2 months old....!!! Well, that time of course Mama or Uppa will carry me. But now... they already let me to go down and touch the sands... even the waves... I like to go to beach... These are some photos taken from the last time we went to Cherai Beach...

My small House

Two weeks back I got presents from Maya Aunty's Family. It is a small house for me. I like it from the first time I saw it... Uppa brought it home when I was sleeping. When I woke up.. I just ran to it hehehe.... Sometimes when I'm inside it... Uppa will pick the house and move it to other place... What I do is following to where Uppa put it, and go inside the house again... Then Uppa will repeat it.. again.. and again.. and again... ^_^ See me when I play with my small house.....

9 months and teeth

Today I'm 9 months old... I'm a big girl now... hehehe. My legs are becoming stronger everyday, alhamdulillah... I start to stand by myself without holding to anything. Of course I do it only for few seconds, less than 1 minute... then I get down again to the floor. Because I become more mobile now... I can explore to more places than before... Opening cupboard (I have to stand to do it) is not a difficult thing for me anymore. Now Mama and Uppa have to care me more... hehehe

Another thing, my teeth is starting to grow out of my gum. There are 2 teeth in my lower gum ready to come out. I think I had fever and didn't eat two weeks ago is because I want to grow teeth... Now you can see them in my mouth everytime I laugh... and cry...

Last week end Uppa had one day off from office... So it was a long week end. He took me to a trip. Yes, again... hehehe. This time we went to Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram), the Capital of Kerala State. It was the first time for me to go there. We stayed with Uppa's friend and his family there.

On Sunday we went out to visit some places. There was a palace (museum). I don't remember the name.. hehehe. For me it is a boring place... and it was a very hot day also... so I cried most of the time because of tired, sleepy and bored. When I had enough cry... I slept..

From the Palace on the way back to home, we visit a waterfall. It is not a big one but I think it has good and clean water... so many people bath there.. under the waterfall. Uppa took me to the river and let me play with the water. It was reaaaaaly fun. I even went to the 'deep' part of the river... around my cest depth..!!! And I was not afraid because of that....

We reach home very late at night after dinner. And the next day we visited one of our relatives near by. We had breakfast there. After that... My Mama favorite programe..... yes, shopping.. hehehe. She can't wait to go to a babyshop. Even for me shopping is bored ( I cried), Uppa and Mama bought me some dresses, a pair os shoes (my first shoes), and toys. Uppa bought me a kitchen set... it is a little bit too early, but Mama said she weill save it until the right time for me to use it. Then one jeep also... Uppa pick it for me..

Monday night we reach bact to our home in Cochin... It was a very tireing day... So the next thing we do is sleep........ Good Night..

My new potty

Last week end, we went out together... just for refreshing after one week I always play at home. We visited one exhibiton. Well, you know that my parent never want to miss any single exhibition...hehehe. It was a property (flats and houses) expo... so nothing we could see there except pictures of flats and houses.. hehehe. Poor Mama... she failed to buy unimportant things.. hahaha...

On the way back home, we dropped by to a supemarket to purchase things. Then Uppa bought me a new potty. I said 'new' cause actually I already have a potty. But it is small one without anything I can hold on... It is difficult for me to sit there. So uppa decided to buy the new one. It is a bigger one with some toys in the front side. I like it.. If I don't use it for potty... we can change the cove so I can use it as a seat. Look at my new potty..... ^_^

Me : (looked back to Mama and then started to touch everything there)

I'm 8 Months Old...

Just an update

It is just another update from me... hehehe. Actually nothing special I want to tell.. just my daily activities. Everyday I will wake up around 6.30 AM in the morning. And I will cry loudly if I don't see Mama around me.. One night I woke up from sleep, and I cried. I went directly to kitchen, searching for Mama... I thought It was morning already and Mama had started her works in kitchen as usual.... Actually, it was still night and Mama was sleeping beside me... hahahaha.... Hey it was dark, I didn't see her. What happened next is Mama woke up cause she heard my cry in the kitchen...!!! So she came and carried me. Then she put me back to sleep.

I really don't like to see Mama in the kitchen. Everytime I see her there.. I will start to cry and pull her dress. But if she's in other room doing something else... it is not a problem for me.. hehehe. So, in the morning when she's cleaning the floor and making breakfast, she will put a baby nursery vcd for me. Then I will stay quite for some time watching the songs and toys... My favorite song is HICKORY DICKORY DOCK... I will move my hands following the song... Hickory Dickory Dock... the mouse ran up the clock... the clock struck one.... the mouse ran down... hickory dickory dock...

Last week end we went to another marriage of my Uppa's friend. We start from home very early in the morning. His house is in Vyppin Island. First we went to Fort Kochi through 2 big and long bridges. From there we still have to cross the sea by jangar. It is actually Uppa's word... hehehe. We don't know the english word for that, so... hehehehhe. It is a kind of small ship which not only carry men but also car, bike, auto etc. So we go on the jangar with the car...

In the marriage reception, we met Uppa's eldest sister and her family. They just came from Riyadh, for 1 month vacation. For me it is the first time meeting them. I played with my cousins... Silutha and Nameekka...

Hallo... How are you...? I hope everybody happy to meet me again here... hehehe. I'm so sorry I couldn't visit back to everybody who had visited me here last week. But I will, soon... ^_^

Last week I was sick. The climate is very cold lately. Rain falls almost everyday. Maybe that's why I got flu. It began with fever, then my nose, then caugh a little. What made Mama very confused was because I didn't eat anything at all. Everything she gave me I vomit it again. My body became very weak. But I still want to play hehehe...

Then when we went to my grandparents' house by train... I also vomit so many times in train. The next week I got better, and I eat better also. I became stronger and have more energy to play. But I wasn't that good though. Sometimes my temperature increase and my nose still watering. But now I feel OK, alhamdulillah...

Last week, we went to attend Uppa's cousin's marriage. This time we went by car, maybe because Uppa still worry about my health, and Mama also had headache and caugh. There were a lot of babies in the marriage for me to play with. But I cried most of the time :( I feel a little bit confused with a lot of poeple. And my body also not that much ok.

Monday morning, we reach back in Cochin. On the way home, we went to supermarket to purchase some food, cause the next day (tuesday) there will be mass strike. Most of the shops and offices close that day. Bus and other transport also will not be available. That's why we need to prepare everything a day before.

Last tuesday, was a very relax day for me, Mama and Uppa. Because Uppa didn't go for office... Mama felt more relax when she prepared breakfast. I played all day.... I was very happy that day.... I ate well, I didn't cry that much, and I sleep very well also. Uppa was ready to play with me at anytime. Especially when Mama busy in the kitchen. Even when Uppa have a little work with the computer, I didn't make any trouble. Oh, well.... I helped him by sitting on his lap when he's typing... hehehe...
